Reverend Aaron Brasfield, Jr.

Rev. Aaron Brasfield, Jr. is a native of Gonzalez, Texas. He married Sis. Alma J. Henderson on July 3, 1965 and were blessed with 4 children. He is the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren. 

He accepted his call to the ministry in 1970 under the leadership of the late Rev. R.W. Bivens of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas where he was licensed and ordained.

 

He is the former Pastor of Grace First Baptist in San Antonio, Texas where he served for ten years until called to Pastor at First Baptist in the fall of 1996. He also had the blessed privilege to serve as Pastor of the Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, the St. Paul Baptist Church in Waelder, Texas, the Second Baptist Church of Seguin, Texas, and the St. John Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony, Texas, which was his first opportunity to Pastor.

Pastor Brasfield’s familiar saying is “Have Thine Own Way Lord, Have Thine Own Way” Since the acceptance of his call to preach the gospel, eight ministers have been anointed to preach the gospel under his leadership.​Pastor Brasfield is committed to being faithful to his calling…he says, “I wouldn’t give nothing for my journey now, for I’m too close to turn around.​"
